About the Role

With Sustainalytics’ growth accelerating, we have needed to ensure that there are appropriate levels of internal support to keep up with the pace of this expansion. We formed the Executive Office (EO) so that strategic priorities would receive an increasing level of oversight, quality, and consistency. One of the divisions within the Executive Office function, is the Process Excellence team. The team, which reports to Sustainalytics’ president, oversees strategic, business unit-wide functions and works to facilitate collaboration across teams.

The Process Excellence Team within the Executive Office function is looking for an individual who will be able to lead their team to create and support a companywide standard of quality/ accountability. This is a chance to leverage your consulting skills while working with various research and product teams to optimize business processes/tools. You will play a critical role in improving internal quality standards to meet the growing needs of Sustainalytics’ clients.

We are looking for a dynamic team player who is a strategic leader in their field. You will report to the Director of Process Excellence and Continuous Improvement. Job Responsibilities


Business Transformational and Operational Process Excellence Project/Team Support

• Coach, guide and consult members of the Process excellence Team on project executions.
• Participate in and/or lead enterprise-wide operational initiatives.
• Collaborate with departmental stakeholders to understand operational challenges and identify opportunities to improve business processes.
• Identifying key quality risks across teams and develop technical solutions to address and monitor these risks.
• Elicit requirements and drive process change using staff interviews, document analysis, requirement workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, as well as business and workflow analysis.
• Design and/or implement end-to-end process changes. Including but not limited to policies, key performance indicators, data reporting, governance, service agreements, and other requirements to minimize liability and risk.

Quality Management Standard Setting and Governance

• Support the development of company-wide quality management and measurement framework system.
• Provide regular reports on quality performance to various stakeholders

Change Management

• Provide guidance and support to team members through complex process and operational change initiatives.
• Drive a vision of corporate accountability for quality.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant experience related to continuous improvement and quality management in process analysis.
• Master’s degree in a related discipline (business, economics, communication, IT and/or data management) or a Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience.
• Six sigma or lean methodology certification in addition to a PMP certification.
• Experience building reports and dashboards using SQL, AppScript/Java/Python, PowerBI, and/or PowerApps.
• Self-starter with a high degree of ownership, sound business acumen and advanced analytical skills, with excellent interpersonal skills.
• High tolerance for ambiguity and adept at driving outcomes within a rapidly changing environment are considered an asset.
• Strong project management skills are considered an asset.
