We’re looking for an Operational System and Continuous Improvement Manager, to play a key role in supporting the roll-out, management and ongoing optimisation of our Warehouse Management System as part of our game changing Supply Chain transformation!
The Role You Could Play
You’ll partner directly with the Head of DC Operations and drive key initiatives across our ever-expanding MECCA Supply Chain. As the primary business owner of the Warehouse Management System, you will drive end-to-end continuous improvement projects that support the growth of our DCs.
Key responsibilities include:
Own and maintain all user configurable functions within the WMS
Support the trouble shooting process for the DC operations team and on point liaison to IT
Educate, upskill and inspire change across the Network
Maintain a relationship with the software vendors
Working with IT, manage the communication of any systems issues with the operations team
Thoroughly analyse problems, opportunities and options using techniques such as value stream mapping and total supply chain costing
This position offers strong potential for growth, a chance to drive tangible improvements along the supply chain, launch new initiatives and will be an integral part of not only the supply chain team but the broader MECCA business.
What You Will Bring
You will have significant Warehouse Management Systems experience, working either in a line role or consulting, including working on implementations or alternatively optimisation & diagnostics to reduce complexity.
You will also be able to demonstrate:
Lean, six sigma or process improvement experience within an operations environment
Advanced MS Office and Excel skills
Commercial acumen, with strong numerical, analytical and strategic thinking skills
The ability to thrives in a fast-paced environment and complete tasks to set deadlines
Ability to influence stakeholders across all levels and business functions
You will have strong problem-solving skills, be solution focused and constantly drive for continuous improvement through innovation and strategic thinking.
