Boeing Aerostructures Australia (BAA) is Australia’s leading designer and manufacturer of composite flight control components for commercial aircraft. Boeing Aerostructures Australia (BAA) is looking for a Project Manager in its Business Operations function.

About the role

This role is responsible for delivering a multiple Projects and cost saving initiatives across business.
Collaborates closely with BAA’s Leadership team and functional leaders
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers & partners
Leads others and directs all phases of assigned cross-organizational or business unit projects demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO standards)
Ensures assigned individuals are completing the identified and assigned tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per plan
Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning. Meets with leadership to gain approval and ensures follow up action for issue resolution
Provides in-depth analysis of project culminating with lessons learned and historical reports for incorporation into future project plans.
Experience in mentoring and developing associate PM’s

About you

Relevant position with extensive project management experience
Manufacturing and/or Aerospace experience desired
Strong interpersonal skills, including demonstrated experience in the ability to work with individuals from all functions across the business
Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, including the impact of changes in one area on another area
Ability to operate autonomously and capability to manage up
Understanding of how to accomplish tasks through formal channels and informal network; understands the cultures of organizations
Must have full, unrestricted working rights in Australia

Classification Level

This is a non-EBA Position IJC WASMI4, remuneration will be commensurate with skills and experience. Pre-employment checks required.
