Your Role and Responsibilities
Are you a full stack developer with at least 2 years of professional experience who wants to make a real impact for society? IBM’s leading development team for blockchain solutions in Europe is located right here in Groningen. We work on sustainability, supply chain, global trade, identity, Central Bank Digital Currencies and much more. Our focus and skills are in production blockchain networks, using cloud and web technologies to run distributed applications at scale. We are expanding our team due to rising demand from our clients across Europe. Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• You have experience in modern cloud application development
• You are eager to learn, and you have excellent communication skills
• You have a healthy degree of assertiveness and initiative
• You are structured and you have a disciplined way of working
• You have experience with working in agile teams
We’re especially looking for people with experience in web application backend
development (NodeJS, TypeScript and Angular or equivalent). You will also know
how to work with object oriented languages (for example: Java, TypeScript or C#).
You know about best practices, how to structure an application and how to work
together to make design choices towards a sustainable solution.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• You have a passion for blockchain and understand its implication on business and society
• Affinity with Hyperledger Fabric, R3 Corda, Ethereum, Stellar, etc
• TypeScript & NodeJS experience
• Experience creating and configuring CI/CD pipelines
• Some Kubernetes skills
