Job Description Including but not limited to:
EHS Support - Pressure Pumping
• Provide EHS support to pressure pumping international locations, including (but not limited to), SPM Aberdeen, SPM Dubai, SPM Singapore, SPM Trading Shanghai, SPM ChengDu Service Centre.
• Work closely with EHS professionals & operational leaders at above mentioned locations to ensure any SPM-wide EHS programs and initiatives are implemented in a timely fashion at these businesses.
Systems
• Develop, Update & Manage SPM O&G EHS roadmap (including Sustainability) and identify key milestones required for the roadmap.
• Develop EHS procedures, programs for SPM O&G and work towards their implementation.
• Develop a common framework for EHS management systems in SPM O&G to align EHS systems in the various regions/ businesses and works towards consolidating EHS management systems across SPM O&G.
• Develop EHS audit / self-assessment plan and optimize EHS management systems audits across SPM O&G, in line with CAT EHS Assurance manual requirements.
• Manage EHS Electronic systems for SPM O&G, including CAT EHS Incident Management App, Power BI Dashboards, HOP Walk App and others.
• Identify suitable software programs/ IT tools for any EHS aspect of the business when required, and prepare comparison between available programs for decision making. Once selected, lead the implementation of such software programs.
Culture
• Assist VP Operations, VCE & EHS in periodically measuring safety culture in SPM O&G, as part of cultural maturity model provided by CAT EHS Excellence system.
• Develop tools, surveys, focus groups to measure safety culture generally or on a specific issue.
• Develop, manage and implement EHS cultural improvement programs, campaigns to address general or specific improvement opportunities.
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety or Engineering or related discipline
• 10+ years of experience in various functions of EHS Management or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must have proven experience in EHS system development and implementation.
• Must have demonstrated experience of EHS management/ leadership in manufacturing and field services within Oil & Gas industry.
• Experience in a Safety leadership position with focus on defining and implementing EHS strategy in a global organization.
• Subject matter expert in EHS standards like ISO 45001, ISO 14001.
• Subject matter expert in relevant regulations and health & safety laws in at least one region relevant to SPM.
• Lead Auditor certification desired.
• Lead Investigator certification desired.
• Certified ASP/ CSP, CMIOSH or similar qualification desired.
Language:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. High capability in problem solving and cascading.
Computer Skills:
Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point, familiarity with some EHS software
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations, Special Skills:
ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 Auditor certificate preferred but not required.
Physical Demands:
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Loud (examples: metal and manufacturing department, Oil and gas plants & field sites)
Performance Measurement & Governance
• Develop tools, templates and programs to measure various proactive & reactive aspects of EHS performance monitoring, including progress on Sustainability initiatives.
• Develop tools to capture EHS data that is not being monitored currently to add value and improve EHS performance.
• Develop audit tools to audit specific elements of a focus site/ business where improvement might be required.
• Compile and analyze audit results at SPM O&G level to identify strengths and improvement opportunities and utilize synergies to improve CAT EHS Assurance Manual implementation across SPM O&G.
• Ensure planning & coordination of EHS committees/ forums at SPM level, including Regional EHS Leaders committee, EHS Professional committee (amongst others).
• Where assigned, serve as lead investigator of significant incidents to identify root causes and contributory factors and develop action plans in consultation with the business.
• Continuously analyze EHS data across SPM O&G to identify emerging trends/ issues and improvement opportunities.
Training & Continuous Improvement
• Design and develop EHS (including Sustainability) training programs on diverse topics and ensure their successful delivery across SPM O&G.
• Conduct EHS train the trainer for EHS teams across SPM O&G on various EHS training programs.
• Where required, conduct EHS training with management or operational staff and compile and collate training feedback on such courses.
• Work towards capacity building of SPM O&G’s EHS teams by sharing relevant information, updates in EHS field, updates in relevant legislations, best practices and literature from relevant professional and industry organizations.
• Design, develop and implement EHS awards program in SPM O&G that recognizes best practices. Ensure timely completion of the process in every cycle.
Success Factors:
• Possess EHS management systems experience and skills, including the demonstrated ability to design and develop EHS procedures, programs and campaigns in a global organization.
• Possess EHS performance monitoring skills, including the ability to analyse EHS data and identify gaps, develop innovative tools to measure various aspects of EHS performance and culture.
• Possess demonstrated experience with more than one root cause investigation technique like ICAM, Bow-tie or similar and be able to conduct investigation of significant incidents and report findings.
• Demonstrated experience of developing, working with and maintaining electronic EHS systems for incident reporting, document control etc.
• Provide expertise in EHS assurance activities including auditing and is able to derive results and close gaps through such assurance activities.
• Professional and experienced in interacting with all levels of organization including management and shop floor.
• A professional who keeps himself/herself up to date with latest changes in relevant legislation and EHS best practices, and has ability to translate such knowledge in workable solutions.
• A confident professional able to proactively resolve issues and challenge assumptions.
