You as an OU Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dubai. This role reports directly to the Hub Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager MEA and is responsible for strengthening a quality and continuous improvement culture for OUs MEA by establishing and maintaining all necessary systems and tools required to deliver stable performance throughout the value chain, throughout project life cycle, from project management to execution, procurement and delivery, and sustainable improvements to meet or exceed our customers’ expectations.
Your responsibilities
Acting as a role model to promote Quality and Continuous Improvement (CI) culture across all organization functions, within operating units.
Supporting the hub quality and CI Manager on the implementation of annual Quality and CI Plan across OU’s.
Analyzing the quality key performance indicators and follow up with the stakeholders on the implementation of actions to achieve the targets (OTD, CoPQ, TNPS, NCR, etc.).
Supporting the Hub Quality and CI Manager on the deployment of CI framework across operating units.
Conducting Quality and CI trainings across operating units as per the annual training plan.
Analyzing the processes through the application of different methodologies (VSM, L6S, SPC, DMAIC, etc.) and support the operating units on the improvement plans, suggesting actions and share the Learnings in other OUs.
Leading the Root Cause Analysis process across the business value chain, through the implementation of different quality tools and techniques (5W’s, Ishikawa, FTA, 8D, etc.) and ensure that relevant Lessons Learned are reported and shared accordingly.
Conducting internal audits across operating units and support the functions on the improvement actions implementation.
Analyzing the projects risk management and support the operating units on the implementation of preventive actions. Supporting the hub quality and CI Manager on the deployment of the hub certification plan and on the improvement of the QMS across OUs.

Your background
A degree in Engineering, Business or Quality or any related field.
10+ years of experience and knowledge in the field of quality.
Ability to communicate clearly, conduct presentations to management and interface effectively with a diverse group of professionals and strong analytical, decision making, problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines and to organize, prioritize and successfully execute tasks in accordance with business objectives.
Ability to encourage change management, systematically manage and support change management processes.
Thorough knowledge of Quality Management Systems & Tools (Process Mapping, RCA, 7 Quality Tools).
Experience of the application of Lean and Six Sigma principles and practices in a business context.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
