Role summary:

You will support the business with the ongoing design, planning, control and monitoring of the Agency Managed Service including all supply chain activities. 
This will be based on meeting or exceeding the client and workforce needs, whilst ensuring that NHSP and its partner Trusts achieve the best value for money from the approved supply chain.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and tracking new processes within the existing teams ensuring that both operational and strategic elements of a Supply Chain managed service continue and provide measurable costs reductions for the NHS.
You will be required to lead on negotiations with external key stakeholders whilst working collaboratively with multiple teams internally to ensure service delivery and development.

Skills/Responsibilities:

Work closely with Agency Service Director to develop, implement and manage agency managed service contracts successfully
 Aid the development of a multi-skilled agency management function to deliver an efficient, cost-effective agency supply service into partner Trusts.
 Leverage NHSP’s buying power across all customer Trusts to achieve best value supply terms from approved framework agencies, ensuring that NHSP can maximise supply for all Trusts within NHS Improvement rate caps.
 Develop best practice standard operating procedures for NHSP’s standalone managed agency proposition.
 Analyse supply chain data and performance to support service design and delivery.
 Prepare, present, and facilitate meetings and presentations to internal and/or external stakeholders as appropriate, in a variety of media including spreadsheets and presentations
Build strong supplier relationships at all levels to support service

Business case / report writing experience
Knowledge of temporary staffing frameworks
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office Suite
