Logistic Coordinator, New East General Trading, Dubai, UAE
Job description / Role
Employment: Full Time
• Coordinate with the transport department for collections and deliveries.
• Export, FZ & GCC Delivery planning.
• Ensure that all orders are delivered as planned and on time.
• Update sales team on the delivery planning and Status of orders.
• Delivery order management (Monitoring & confirmation)
• Pending orders follow up.
• Attend enquiries of sales team and trouble shooting.
• BL Instruction and follow up.
• 3rd Party inspection and follow up for COC.
• Customs Mirsal 2 Documentation.
• Transfer of ownership Documentation.
• Issuance of certificate of origin.
• LGP Documentation & Record keeping.
Requirements
• Soft Skills and Personality traits: Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of logistics processes and supply chain management principles.
• Knowledge of transportation modes, regulations, and documentation.
• Proficiency in logistics software and systems.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics service providers.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good knowledge of customs and trade compliance regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity tools.
• Specialist knowledge: Experience in coordinating transportation, warehouse operations, and inventory management.
• Experience in managing customs and trade compliance.
• Experience in working with logistics software and systems.
• Experience in managing relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics service providers.
• Experience in problem-solving and managing supply chain disruptions.
Nature and length of previous experience: 2-3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
Other certifications obtained: Certifications related to logistics and supply chain management, such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Logistics Professional (CLP), are highly valued.
University Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
