Role Summary:
Dexcom is looking for an enthusiastic and analytical EMEA Distribution Resource Analyst to join our rapidly growing company to help us navigate this growth with cost and customer satisfaction top of mind. This role is responsible of creating and executing distribution resource plan for finished goods material in EMEA 3PL warehouses by utilizing demand forecast and customer orders. DRP Analyst will work closely with global manufacturing, planning and logistics teams to ensure right product is in right place at the right time and in right quantity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Utilize supply chain best practices to improve finished goods product mix, reduce E&O and stranded inventory costs, and diminish opportunities for backorders
Apply analytics and improved reporting as it relates to DRP
Support the organizational restructure of DRP as it relates to inventory and replenishment across multiple factories and 3PLs
Set inventory targets and stocking strategies across the Dexcom EMEA 3PLs
Help coordinate the phase-out and phase-in of products as it relates to inventory management
Communicate inventory replenishment plans, deviations from inventory replenishment plans, and potential resolutions to our Sales, Customer Service, Tech Support, and Logistics teams
In coordination with the logistics team, support cost reduction initiatives as it relates to inventory replenishment
Interface with Logistics and Manufacturing teams to guide and track inventory replenishment, with a focus on automating signals and reporting
Apply financial measures and reporting as it relates to DRP to capture critical cost criteria
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications/Experience:
APICS or ISM certification
Fluency in English required
Minimum 3+ years' inventory planning/forecasting experience
Experience in fast-paced environment
Good verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with ERP systems (preferably Oracle)
Proficiency in Excel
Able to prioritize workload and work independently
Flexibility around work tasks and timescales
