Description

Our client, a leading manufacturing and logistics company, is looking for a QHSE Manager to join their team based outside of Birmingham. As the QHSE Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the company complies with all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation, as well as implementing best practice standards across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing, implementing and maintaining the company's QHSE policies and procedures.
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001.
Conducting risk assessments and developing risk management strategies.
Leading the development and implementation of the company's health, safety, and environmental training programmes.
Investigating accidents and incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
Developing and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Ensuring that the company's manufacturing and logistics processes are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.

Qualifications and Experience:

NEBOSH Qualification (Diploma advantageous)
At least 5 years of experience in a QHSE management role in the manufacturing and logistics industry.
Strong Quality experience (ISO 9001)
Knowledge and understanding of relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation and standards.
Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing risk management strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
