Our skilled workforce provides unified, multidisciplinary support through the life-span of an asset - including design and build, automated control systems and operations and maintenance - driving efficiencies and reducing costs.

Directly responsible for all the planning preparation activities and Work Pack compilation associated with multidisciplinary maintenance work, to be delivered either by the L2 Contracted Team, SABIC Maintenance organization or by 3rd Party Contractors.

Duties included within this role, but not limited to the following

(additional tasks may be given to the Field Planner at the discretion of the Scheduler or Lead Scheduler, if deemed appropriate):

§ Gate keep Client originated work requests prior to planning
§ Responsible for scoping work activities within the Field Planners range of experience and engaging with the Client's Engienering Team when the work goes beyond this competency
§ Construction of a comprehensive Work Pack for the Execution Team that meets the needs of the Client and incorporate all the requisite Safe Systems of Work (SSoW)
§ Execute the Field Planner role iaw the Client’s workflow management process - MEMS 06.04

§ Utilise the Client’s CMMS (SAP) for the electronic construction of all Work Orders
§ Task List plan all work in SAP
§ Use Client approved Norms, DACE or other, for estimating, where available
§ Complete a comprehensive estimate document as part of the Work Pack build
§ Select work to plan based on the Client’s priorities, if self-directed (when operating amongst a team a planners work will be allocated from a Scheduler who is the appointed MWC Owner)
§ Sole responsibility for a Work Order during the planning element of Workflow

§ Conduct Site visits for the purpose of job stepping
§ Liaise with the key stakeholders during the construction of the Task List / PMO - Engineering, Task Owner, Ops (OSS), 3rd Party Contractors, Material Suppliers
§ Have the ability to campaign plan when working to SAP Revision Codes
§ Prepare “Early Warnings” and advise the Area Lead and Delivery Manager of any significant delays during the planning phase
§ Use SAP Hold Codes to identify pauses in Workflow

§ Use SAP Tasks for the gathering of information/specifications from the Client
§ Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) for the work-pack and raise requisitions for plant, consumables, materials within BUK scope
§ Prepare RFQ’s for Sub-Contractors, arrange site visits and prepare Bill of Estimate for Sub-Cons to support the BUK work-pack
§ Be prepared to attend JSA’s or HAZOP studies when requested
§ Raise rework Notifications in SAP
§ Raise work orders for capital funding in SAP - PMO4
§ Manage the workload in the allocated MWC to ensure Field Planning activities can deliver work packs in line with the priority system
§ Update Task Lists when appropriate - pre-release, during release process and post task

§ Provide periodic activity reports for planning progress
§ Engage in internal audit programmes in support of the Contract
§ Ability to work on challenging timelines and have the agility to readily switch focus when priorities change
§ Demonstrate a pro-active approach to the role through the identification of improvement opportunities

Experience & Qualifications

§ Experience of work within the Process, Oil & Gas, Plant or Power Generation industries
§ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
§ Experience working in a supervisory/self-directed role.
§ Experience with process plant including maintenance delivery.
§ Proactive and flexible work approach.
§ Worked within performance contracts before.

Essential

• Qualified to Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) NVQ Mechanical/Electrical/Instrument-Level 3 - trade skill dependant on Field Planner position, M or E&I

Preferred

§ CCNSG Safety Passport.
§ ISOH Managing Safety Cert
§ IT Training - Microsoft & SAP
