For our Biotech manufacturing plant in Medemblik, Noord-Holland, we are currently looking for a Process Improvement Engineer
This Process Improvement Engineer is partly responsible for optimizing our processes and workflows within the manufacturing value streams. He/She will work with the various business disciplines to improve the value stream in terms of quality, delivery and costs and for implementation of new production processes.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• He/She identifies, plans and carries out projects or adjustments in current value stream processes to improve quality, delivery and costs metrics.
• He/She facilitates improvement projects that enable operations to achieve improvement objectives.
• Acts as a startup manager for new products and processes.

Profile:

• HBO + work level of thinking or academic high potentials with relevant training or experience (technical business administration, logistics, process management).
• Experience with lean principles (KAIZEN, VSM, 5S, standard work, visual management). Green or Black belt certification is a plus.
• Analytical and conceptual thinking.
• Able to change plans into actions.

• Able to lead project teams.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Standout colleague and able to convince and motivate individuals to go through lean changes.
• Dutch and English proficiency.
