Your Impact:
The primary purpose of the position is to drive HSE excellence. You will work closely with the Regional HSE Director and will be central to HSE activites and initiatives in the region. You will support the implementation of the regional HSE programme across the Middle East. You will be closely connected to business operations and the HSE program and have the ability to adapt to changes. You must take responsibility and iniative to identify issues, resolve them or raise them up for discussion or support.
Day to Day Role & Responsibility
• Support to regional HSE management team and reporting to regional HSE Director
• Support with regional HSE resources planning
• Managing projects tracking register
• Managing HSE reporting process from regional field projects
• Supporting development of regional HSE report
• Coordination of annual ISO certification process
• Coordinating and supporting HSE communications - updates, seasonal messages, safety alerts, lessons learned
• Coordinating and supporting HSE campaigns - quarterly campaigns, stand down
• HSE training management - monitoring compliance, and scheduling where required
• Coordinating distribution of regional HSE awards
• Coordinating and supporting positive mental health program
• HSE website content management
• BZ Committee coordination - ensure regional / office BeyondZero committees are running and active
• Providing HSE support to office facilities
• Support sales and prequals - responding to pre-qualifications
• Ergo assessments support - coordination for offices and projects in the region
• PPE coordination - ensure all countries have PPE suppliers in coordination with projects and facilities
• Coordination of incident management through the Intelex system
• Coordination of monthly BeyondZero Observations and generation of report
• Monitoring and coordination of regional HSE audits and oversight schedule
• Coordination of subcontractor prequalification
• Supporting regional leadership team HSE KPIs
Here’s What You’ll Need:
• Degree qualified is preferred
• Project coordination experience - leading and managing multiple projects / tasks
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team to deliver responsibilities
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Able to communicate to all levels within the organisation
• Analytical and ability to produce high quality reports
• Is focused on attention to detail and getting things right
• Proactive nature
• Has a continual improvement mindset
• HSE experience is not essential but preferred
