We are Kingsgate Hotel Greymouth. Together with Millennium and Copthorne, we are one of New Zealand's largest hotel operators and part of an expanding international network of hotels. We are known for our outstanding service experiences and a fantastic team. After being closed for renovations, we are getting ready to welcome travellers from all over back through our doors. To do so, we are looking for a new Head Chef, that's where you come in.

You will be responsible for creating menus which in turn will set the tone of the hotel and ensure that the hotel is known for showcasing and focusing on the West Coast's phenomenal local produce. Your leadership will set the standard for your team of what guests can come to expect when they visit your hotel. If you have experience managing a professional kitchen or are an experienced Sous Chef ready to step up, are up to date with global food trends and are bursting with creativity then this is the position for you.
It's important you have restaurant standard experience and are flexible for shifts that include weekends.
