The Sr. Manager for Continuous Improvement and Associate Experience will be responsible for shaping the P&O Associate experience strategy and mission. Partnering with leaders across MGS P&O, this role will develop and manage practices to deeply understand and listen to Associates and use the insights to raise awareness of trends to consult and inform decisions on MGS P&O strategies and implementation programs. In addition, the role will oversee the strategy, resources, and objectives to improve the delivery of E2E experiences across key Associate personas and journeys and contribute directly to MGS P&O Experience, Effectiveness, and Efficiency targets through the championship and utilization of Design Thinking, Continuous Improvement, and Agile methodologies. This position is expected to role model Great Line Management in leading a global team of both individual contributors and line managers as well as oversee and operating budget.
This role can be based in the US (Chicago, Newark, Hackettstown), UK (Slough), or Poland.
What are we looking for?
*Minimum of a Bachelor's degree. MS/MBA is a plus.
*3+ years of shared service experience, plus Human resources domain experience
*5+ years of proven leadership experience with process ownership / management
*5+ years of leading customer or employee experience initiatives guided by a combination of pragmatic, design thinking, quantitative and data-driven approaches
*Green Belt or higher certification in Lean / Six Sigma is preferred
*Exceptional problem-solving skills: demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, develop solutions, and craft high quality communications and recommendations
*Strong knowledge of and experience with human-centered Design Thinking best practices
*Strong executive presence - influencing and communication skills, along with assertiveness, directness, and an ‘Associate first’ mentality
*Excellent communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English
*Strong people leader who can collaborate, in a matrixed environment, with multi-cultural and remote peers / project teams
*Strong internal client-facing skills with a flexible communication style
*Requires flexibility in work schedule, early morning or evening hours may be required at times. Global travel may be required at times.
Preferred:
*Thorough understanding and passion for technology. A demonstrated affinity for analytics.
*Multi-national corporate experience working across different time zones and geographies
What would be your key responsibilities?
Associate Experience:
*Develop P&O Experience strategy leveraging benchmarking and internal data to prioritize key Moments that Matter
*Own the definition of Associate personas and journeys being responsive to the changing talent footprint and demands of the organization.
*Develop ongoing hire-to-retire experience listening strategy to deeply understand both what is important and what the experience to identify changes to programs, processes, and technology to improve moments of engagement, as an advocate for Associate Experience
*Champion and evangelize human centric design approach and capability building across various functions in P&O
*Drive adoption of P&O knowledge via MyP&O Portal via content governance, ownership and simplification
Continuous Improvement:
*Lead the prioritization and resourcing of new and ongoing process improvement and re-engineering opportunities in terms of user experience, quality, and productivity of teams.
*Complete holistic CI culture health assessments across the MGS P&O leadership organization and develop a roadmap to support continuous improvement capability building amongst key MGS P&O leaders.
*Bring forward CI methodologies and practices that will advance the long-term agenda of MGS P&O
People Leadership:
*Manages a globally distributed team with multiple skill-sets (continuous improvement, design thinking, content management)
*Establish and maintain successful, productive, collaborative partnerships with across MGS service lines and P&O Business Partner community to shape and drive the Associate Experience strategy and COP Delivery
