Salary: £53348 to £63668 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

The Faculty of Engineering is looking to appoint a Head of Business Continuity and Change. In this new role you will work closely with the Faculty Operations Director, members of the Faculty Executive Board and the university’s professional services to manage relevant teams, policies, processes, and the frameworks required to support an improved approach to faculty governance, planning, communication, assurance and business operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop the operational infrastructure across the faculty, positively influencing culture and driving improvements to support delivery of our strategic objectives.

To be successful in this role you will have a record of effective leadership within a large organisation and experience of operational, project and change management. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate, influence and communicate effectively at all levels. Your resilient and tenacious approach and ability to prioritise effectively whilst working under pressure to meet demanding and sometimes conflicting deadlines will help you to succeed in the role.
