Business Area Wind is responsible for Vattenfall’s Onshore and Offshore Wind as well as other renewable activities such as solar PV and batteries. Today we develop, construct and operate wind generation in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK. In addition, we have a clear strategy to develop our solar PV and battery operations further.

Your responsibilities as Project Manager Engineering

As Project Manager you are part of the Engineering department, which is the technical know-how center and home of technical competences within Business Area (BA) Wind. This means being part of our business, making sure to have a direct impact on value delivered to (internal) customers.

You will work closely with Engineers who have integration as a key guideline. Driving technical excellence through the whole project lifecycle is very relevant for the working area. This should be reflected in a clearly communicated product vision.

Our main stakeholders are Asset Management, O&M Delivery and IT
Your key responsibilities include:
• Develop product vision
• Define sub deliverables and execute with team
• Close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure product development is returning value
• Initiate and manage set of complex topics with relevant stakeholders. This includes Operation & Maintenance Delivery (O&MD), Project Delivery, Roadmaps, Digital Integration, SCADA and other Engineering disciplines, Digitalization, IT and other functions.

Communicate clearly towards the wider organization about purpose and progress of activities
• Contribute to improved ways of working

Your profile as Project Manager Engineering

At the moment we are looking for a project manager with experience in product ownership. You are a strong communicator towards our internal stakeholders.
Furthermore, you have the following qualifications:
• A university degree in engineering or other with minimum 5 years work experience.

Work experience in a similar position in the energy sector or a technical industry would be beneficial
• A proven track record with product ownership
• A strong ability to work cross-functions
• Demonstrated ability to work across all organizational levels
• Your English skills are strong on a professional level, both verbally and written
Also, you bring the following key competences:
• Communication skills: You are a highly motivated and communicative professional, who is used to working in virtual teams

Stakeholder management: Your stakeholder management skills are strong, in a way that you value and enjoy working in an environment characterized by people from different backgrounds and cultures
• Problem solving skills: You are proven skilled in dealing with strategic, highly complex issues, problems and challenges. Within this environment, you can develop detailed solutions, while always maintaining a higher-level perspective.
• Health and safety: you activity contribute to our safety culture

Flexibility: You take responsibility, provide transparency and display a collaborative mindset. When needed, you can handle many tasks at the same time. You are flexible and can adjust to changing circumstances
