About the role

Based on-site in central Amsterdam in our brand new self-designed offices.
You will take a change management lead on core projects being implemented by business functions such as Supply Chain or Owner Experience. You will be managing the impacts to the business across EU markets and the relevant functions impacted within these markets e.g. Direct (Digital, retail), Customer Services, Warehouse and logistics, 3rd Party retail etc.

Where a project is more ‘business led’, due to the commercial and/or operational nature, you will project manage the end to end lifecycle of change, with IT making up a small part of your overall scope for delivery.
You will work closely with the Transformation Programme Manager to ensure your projects are delivered on time, to scope and to requirements.
Budget and financials
You will not have any direct control over a budget or the financials relating to a project, this is managed via the IT Governance board and sign off processes in place prior to project delivery.

As part of our business change principles you will be expected to monitor and review (post project) the success of the project delivery e.g. benefits realisations, both hard and soft. In accordance with the business case.
Leadership
Take personal accountability for quality and accuracy of change management and deliverables. Do not accept ‘average’ or ‘ok’, only excellence is acceptable. Work in conjunction with the Programme Manager to improve the quality of change management and transformation in market Work with your peers, influencing and driving best practices that are at the right level for Dyson

About you

The Dyson Project Change Manager is a high calibre change manager, recognised for their leadership and change management capabilities. You'll be capable of leading and taking the organisation on the journey of change, with first class communication and people skills. You’re commercially astute and used to working collaboratively across a number of different business functions, for example: Group IT, Group Commercial, Group Owner Experience and Markets (countries).

Key skills required:

• Agile and Prince 2 (Sprint vs Waterfall approaches)
• An experienced APMG Business Change professional
• Lean methodology
• PROSCI practitioner
• Lean/Six Sigma certification
• Change management and business readiness professional
• 3rd Party management
• Microsoft packages intermediate + (Excel, Word, PPT, Project, Visio, Teams etc) International experience (EU preference)

Key experience and abilities required:

Excellent change management skills, using APMG and Lean methodologies to execute change focusing on our people, our processes, the systems and tools they use, whilst ensuring excellent communication throughout the lifecycle and scope. 3-5 year’s experience of project management in complex organisations. A proven record in delivery by successfully leading large multi-disciplinary project teams potentially across multiple organisations and locations. Communications planning experience. People capability analysis, managing the gaps, including an understanding of HR business process changes. Be able to think holistically and analytically and know when to take which approach.

Desirable:

Bilingual (EU countries advantageous)
Working knowledge and experience in EU markets
Experience across - Direct Retail, Digital, Customer Services, Operations, Warehousing and logistics
You'll be a natural leader and a creative problem solver with the ability to communicate complex ideas simply at all levels.

You'll be detail orientated without losing bigger picture. Sensitive to cultural differences across Dyson Worldwide. Resilient and able to deliver consistently under pressure backed up by a keen sense of humour!
