The job
The purpose of your role as Quality Manager is to maintain all site and product standards to ensure full compliance with company, customer and third-party policies and procedures relating to quality, food safety and Health & Safety.
Key tasks:
• Effectively manage complaints and liaise with the Technical Manager of progress and issues.
• Identify room for improvements relating to processes/practices in the factory.
• Support production in solving issues and making decisions on quality and food safety.
• Conduct internal Audits.
• Maintain all calibration of equipment both internally and externally.
• Train employees in the completion of all necessary paperwork.
• Communicate with suppliers with regards to non-conformances.
• Train employees working on CCPs and keep training records up to date.
Key skills and experience for the Quality Manager include:
• Strong quality assurance track record in the food manufacturing industry.
• A background of working with chilled, prepared foods such as salads, sandwiches and food-to-go is an advantage.
• Ideally degree educated in food science, food technology or related discipline.
• Qualifications such as HACCP, Food Hygiene, Food Safety etc. are all highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills.

The Quality Manager job is based in West London and is paying £36,000 - £38,000 according to your experience.
The package also includes 33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays (pro-rata), life insurance, pension (NEST) and discount eligibility from high street shops to holidays and cinemas.
The working hours are Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm with flexibility during peak periods.
