Our plant in Tomahawk, WI manufactures, finishes and ships windshields, composite and plastic parts to our final assembly plants. Join us as a CI Specialist.

Job Summary

Leads teams in the design and implementation of critical projects of cross-functional or cross-site impact which deliver targeted business results to support functional strategies. Improves processes, drives customer satisfaction, increases productivity, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement. Leads cross functional and cross site teams through influence; provides guidance, direction, and support to others. Demonstrates leadership in managing complex, integrated projects that cross multiple organizational functions. Acts as an ambassador and leader in contributing to the development of a continuous improvement culture and mindset.

Job Responsibilities

-Provide solutions to problems using both creative processes and analytical methods.
-Demonstrate the organizational skills to develop an integrated change plan and influence the organization to embrace the proposed changes and ensure sustainability
-Works with the functional leaders to identify opportunities for improvement
-Acts as the project manager on critical projects of cross-functional or cross-site impact
-Leads and facilitates process improvement teams as required
-Provides the technical resource to the functional areas on appropriate application of methodology and tools
-Receives input from various sources and works to assure appropriate methods are in place to improve targeted metrics

Education Specifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technical or Business Preferred

Experience Requirements

Required:
-Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
-Demonstrated experience with working independently in thoroughly analyzing data and influencing leadership to make decisions and to take actions
-Hands on experience in leading projects with cross-functional teams to improve business performance and maintain sustainability
-Working knowledge with lean manufacturing methodology, quality issues, and problem solving

Preferred:
-One of the following: Certification or Certificate in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (minimum Yellow Belt), and/or -Project Management (H-D PMX or equivalent)
