An exciting opportunity has come up in our safety team for an experienced Food Quality & Standards Manager.
You will be responsible for the quality of food in our bakeries, delivering this by continuing to build on and grow our processes and execution. You will lead a team of quality partners to drive quality, professionalism, and pride in our products through a robust quality control program and tailored site-support to grow sales and protect quality.

About the role:

• To create a framework around the quality of food, creating a structure and way of working to get quality onto the forefront of the agenda
• Introducing and executing our quality control program to drive and develop food quality
• Identify and drive continuous improvement of performance and quality through creating and documenting procedures and standards
• Manage a team of quality partners and supporting them to deliver a quarterly quality control program
• Establishing and embedding in bakery visits and support, structuring the food quality partners to deliver a robust quality plan

• Working collaboratively with the food training team, food quality and standards team and technical team to form a plan for quality, both short term and longer term.
• Clear targets and feedback loop on both quality and execution in bakeries, to create a clear structure and hierarchy on root cause.
• Facilitate openness with the different teams to establish or improve procedures, standards, and systems
• Cast an operational lens over commercial objectives and translate them into plans that engage our Bakers and support them to successfully execute and embed
