We are looking for an experienced Process Lead/Continuous Improvement Lead, to be responsible for highlighting and eliminating process losses on equipment or areas and drive standards and problem solving.

Key responsibilities:

Promote and actively participate in the continuous improvement and evolution of site safety culture
Lead from the front by demonstrating appropriate safety behaviours and deliver optimal site safety performance
Design, implement and maintain systems to collect and analyse data for critical product and process parameters
Identify process losses with data to build Loss Tree and Loss Analysis for prioritisation of activity
Eliminate or reduce (prioritized) losses through making process or work system changes
Participate in the daily direction-setting process – report results, flag issues and request resources
Use Reliability Engineering tools to drive centrelining and loss elimination
Prepare and give training on process/equipment changes
Ensure compliance with required Quality and Food Safety policies and procedures
Challenge and improve current systems, processes and practices to reduce all losses and document in the 90-day plan
When required, participate in problem solving for the line to determine root causes and effective corrective actions

Ingredients to be successful:

Minimum 3-5 years in a leadership position or Continuous Improvement position
FMCG experience is desirable
Demonstrated experience in CI/leadership
Base understanding of the shopfloor/production operations
Chemical Engineers/ Cert IV Competitive Manufacturing
Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing tools
Advanced problem-solving skills and high-level leadership and coaching skills
