What’s the job?

As Continuous Improvement project manager, you will have the opportunity to influence change across the purchase to pay (P2P) value stream. As the initial focus will be with invoice to pay, this role will identify data driven improvement opportunities within the digital invoice process, master data and payment process driving transformation to a single standard process across three main business hubs in North America.

CI Project Management

Work with project teams to develop and maintain project roadmaps.
Manage deadlines and project activities.
Apply appropriate quality improvement analytical tools and methodologies to identify opportunities (i.e, FMEA, process flow mapping, CTQ drilldown, dashboards utilization, run charts and documentation from PDSA cycles implementation, etc.).
Manage concurrent improvement projects, compling metrics to keep abreast of inter-connected projects in a complex business environment.
Contribute to the implementation of program and project related standards, policies, and procedures within the Finance Shared Services Center
Prepare reports and presentations for leadership across SGNA.
Provide input and feedback to the PMO & CI Leader idenitifing improvement opportunities within the project management process

Data Analysis

Compile metrics relating to project success, individual productivity and adherence to defined processes
Analyze data for meaningful conversations leading to solution consensus.
Drive fact based decision making, leveraging data from multiple sources
Organize and publish project related documentation in various sources

Stakeholder Management & Communications

This individual has to effectively manage multiple stakeholders and their needs across many business areas, across SGNA Region and beyond. Ability to relate and have a meaningful conversations leading to consensus is key.
Develop positive working relationships with internal and external customers, using a collaborative approach to ensure the best possible outcome.
Organize and publish project related communications in various channels

What do you bring?

2+ years of experience working in a professional setting focused on improvement activities
Bachelor’s Degree (Finance, STEM) or equivalent experience, including internships/co-op
Demonstrated understanding and application of basic project management methods and and best practices such as those defined by the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
Working knowledge of O365, SharePoint and Teams
Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated problem-solving ability
