As a Quality Coordinator, you will be in charge of implementing and leading the development of the Engine Maintenance Quality System in line with Qantas guidelines. Reporting into the Principal Quality Advisor, you will work collaboratively with our Engineers, CASA and other regulatory bodies to provide advice relating to compliance, changes to regulation and codes of conduct.

You’ll have

A tertiary qualification in a quality related discipline
4+ years experience in a Quality Role, ideally within Engineering or a related discipline
Proficient with Microsoft suit – in particular Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Proven analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to effectively liaise with a diverse range of stakeholder groups
Demonstrated integrity and experience in handling confidential and/or sensitive information. Able to effectively work in a team environment
Proven negotiation skills with the ability to persuade managers, supervisors and peers to embrace safety as an essential component of good business
Self-motivated, with the ability to show initiative and flexibility
A positive, results focused disposition and do not shy away from challenges being thrown your way
