The Role

Seasoned project manager with expertise in leading transformational projects in a fiber investment and penetration growth-focused organization. Project manager to oversee a high-dollar, complex projects with stakeholders that span multiple business units and functional areas in a matrix environment.

The Main Responsibilities

Demonstrate exceptional leadership to ensure successful and timely execution of project proposals through all phases of the project from initiation to monitoring & controlling.
Take full accountability for the timely delivery and quality of all project deliverables.
Employ use of PMI subscribed project management best practices for all aspects of managing the project including risk assessment, project plan creation, stakeholder identification and management.
Deliver crisp, timely communications to stakeholders, sponsors and executive leadership.
Seek expert opinions to develop innovative solutions to project challenges
Manage leadership expectations for project deliverables
Work collaboratively across business units to secure resources and conceptual/strategic buy in for projects (matrix organization)
Seek insights from front line sales teams, IT, planning, engineering and other key stakeholder groups to ensure their process, system and general operational improvement needs are fulfilled. 
Highly collaborative with ability to lead cross functional and remote project teams 
Effective communicator, proficient in stakeholder management with proven capability to secure project buy in and resources in a matrix organization structure
Customer centric mindset with proven ability to deliver measurable, tangible solutions that generate clear business value.

What We Look For in a Candidate

PMP certification or equivalent director-level telecommunications experience 
Minimum 7 years experience managing diverse range of projects
Minimum 7 years telecommunications experience
Must have proven record of capably leading a variety of project types, including but not limited to operational efficiency/process improvement initiatives, IT/software enhancement and development programs, sales enablement efforts and projects that span multiple business units including field operations, planning and engineering, finance, legal, IT and others. 
Effective communicator, proficient in stakeholder management with proven capability to secure project buy in and resources in a matrix organization structure. Must be able to create clear, crisp written and verbal status and results readouts for leaders.
Must have extensive experience creating necessary project planning and tracking documentation from project initiation through monitoring and controlling.
Customer centric mindset with proven ability to lead teams to develop and execute tangible solutions for fast paced organization. 
Ability to effectively navigate a wide range of dynamic processes and organizational structures. 
Experience managing multiple high-dollar, high-value projects simultaneously.
Experience leading projects that have had clear, measurable results that led to organizational or business transformation
Lean Business Process or Six Sigma Certification preferred
