Job Purpose:
• Implementing robust quality processes to ensure quality is built in at each activity in the operations.
• Monitor, track, and analyze all errors and provide detailed reports to operations.
• Manage and Supervise hourly and salaried staff for quality inspection of material.
• Liaising with parts suppliers, regional and global technical teams as well as customers.
• Timely processing of dealer claims backed by thorough investigations.
• Liaise with financial department for payments of claims as well as suppliers’ deliveries.
• Work with Operations team to identify and eliminates root causes for errors by following proper problem-solving techniques
• Assist Ops team in creating relevant PR’s in SAP and track the same
• Review and verify invoices in Online Document Management (ODM) prior to approvals.
• Handle any other administrative tasks for the Operations department.
• Ensure effective implementation of Global Manufacturing System (GMS) by partnering, influencing, working closely with Warehouse leadership team.
• Manage Core Return Process
• Work with Operations, Finance and Area After sales Manager (AAM’s) to maximize core return parts from dealers.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Quality Local (50%)
•
• Manage and overlook the process related to parts quality issues are been checked during inbound to prevent any bad stock entering inventory.
• Ensure all claims are process with full investigations and create strategy and plan to meet the
• global quality targets.
• Create strategy and plan of Inspecting outbound shipments as per the incoming claim pattern.
• Ensure all Quality Assurance (QA) procedure is followed and adhered by the team member.
• Ensure spent for inspection is optimal and they are tracked as well.
• Supervise all floor activities and make proper inspection plan of auditing processes, locations and storage of parts are as per agreed processes and ensure that all relevant proof taken as records
• Monitor all employee error rate and report the same to floor supervisors and assist them in implementing corrective actions for the root causes identified
• Take lead on 5S - workplace organization.
• Ensure all QA scraps are documented and disposed as per the agreed processes
• Lead and coach the QA team comprising of office and Floor staffs, which would include, hiring, training, guidance, performance evaluation, individual development, Workplace of Choice (WPOC) etc.
• Create all required Financial support request (FSRs) related to percentage pay off to dealer as per their claim’s ratio for the previous year- Overage/Shortage program to dealers
• Support field staff on any quality concerns raised and highlighted by them during their field visits
• Create and coordinate all dealer communication related to Quality
• Implements and lead Core return claims processing
Warehouse Quality Regional (5%)
• Work with regional Subject Matter Expert (SME’s) on any global initiatives to improve quality
• Work with regional in aligning the processes in claims
• Providing regular report to the Regional Director - fixed and adhoc.
• Support regional OpEx project on reducing quality spent
Warehouse Quality Global (5%)
• Work with the global quality team to report problems that arise. Create processes that improve quality and deliver better service to dealers
• Raise Quality Control form (QCFs) & Problem reporting and resolving (PRR) and Request for Inspection (RFI) to all suppliers.
• Participate in regional /global meeting in relation to quality to share best practices and escalate issue to platforms and management
Core Return Local (20%)
• Manage Core Return process in Warehouse Operations
• Work with Operations, Finance and AAM’s to maximize core return parts from dealers.
Global Manufacturing System (GMS) Local (20%)
• Lead Built in Quality (BIQ) principle of GMS
• Ensure all elements of BIQ are implemented per cadence
• Support all other GMS principles in implementations and sustainability
Knowledge/Education:
• University Degree preferably in Engineering
• Knowledge of Warehousing Concepts
• Advance knowledge in MS Excel, Word, PPT.
