JOB DESCRIPTION
In your role you will work within a motivated team to ensure the continuous development of SHEQ, implementation and further development of the SHEQ processes. With your knowledge and experience you are able to provide the relevant stakeholders within the various offices and divisions with specialist knowledge and support.
Your main tasks and responsibilities are:
• Initially responsible for the further development and structuring of all SHEQ related processes for BUC transport.
• Then responsible for further implementation and assurance of all SHEQ matters in various offices within and outside Europe from office HNL (Scope Netherlands, Ireland, England, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Turkey and Greece).
• Review, input and manage data in software packages.
• Improve and maintain the quality system.
• Analyzing critical process factors and setting up improvement proposals.
• Creating support among all employees by facilitating, training, and coaching.
• Coordinating and supervising internal and external audits of customers, suppliers and certifying bodies, among others.
• Point of contact for various internal departments and externally for (certifying) bodies, government agencies and interest groups (including ECTA/Cefic).
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND EDUCATION
A suitable candidate has a Bachelor degree (or higher) and several years of (relevant) work experience. You have experience in the field of quality management, logistics/transport sector (preferably chemical and/or intermodal transport) and experience with transport legislation. You also have affinity with regard to technical aspects in liquid transport and are willing to travel (3 to 4 days per month on average). A good level of Dutch, English and German both spoken and written is required.
PERSONALITY TRAITS
You have the ability to respond flexibly to proposals from the Sales organization, among others. You are a team player who can add value within a small team.
