What You Will Do
The Regional Operations Manager - Controls MEA will be reporting directly to the Regional Product Director - Controls and will be based in Dubai. As part of the MEA control’s product management team, your responsibilities will be to manage, execute and report product revenue and margin plan within the region, strongly contribute to a healthy TWC for overall controls product business, and support sales to increase JCI product wallet share. In addition, this role includes managing the operations of the indirect channel business, implement processes to drive operational excellence and ensure customer satisfaction at the highest level.
At this position, you will be managing the technical support for all JCI platforms within the MEA region and ensuring implementation of optimized distributed knowledge base process through all MEA channels and implementing workable escalation matrix within local and global technical support teams.
How You Will Do It
As a Regional Operations Manager - Controls MEA you will be managing the complete MEA pricing process, strategy and deployment for the complete MEA region, in liaison with the global pricing team. You will ensure coordinating with sales and product team for competitive pricing analysis. The pricing strategy will be in line with managing and maintaining margin % and Y-O-Y growth as per plan.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the team ensuring efficient and optimized processes are in place in registering new channel partners, updating & coordinating with sales on channel agreements and maintaining FY revenue plans. You will manage and plan to achieve monthly revenue target plans and support to maintain plan margin% for Controls Product business in coordination with JCI factories and planners on open order shipments.
You will closely work with the Technical support team to ensure a bi-weekly cadence on overall MEA support request and meeting an optimized KPI on resolved cases. You will report Monthly Revenue / Margin to local and Global management team and generate reports with information and action around operation excellence & Technical support.
Qualifications
What we look for
Required
• Diploma / bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical / electrical)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing Controls Product Pricing and managing product portfolio distribution.
• Minimum of 15 years’ field experience in project execution management, aftermarket business management, basis for design, managing controls estimation and handling control business P&L.
• Proven technical knowledge and experience on controls products and solutions
• Working in a high-pressure environment to deliver results.
• Experience in handling people & positive communications in a concise way.
