TransCore - Amtech Systems, LLC (AMS), a subsidiary of Roper Technologies, Inc, (NYSE:ROP) is seeking a full-time Project Management Manager to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Job Summary:
Leads people who perform project management duties involving cross-functional teams focused on delivery of internal products or administrative systems. Oversees plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets. Monitors programs/projects from initiation through delivery and interfaces with internal customers or department personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
• Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
• Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
• Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required.
• Prepares project reports as required.
• Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
• Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Requires minimum 5 years of related experience
• Expert level project management experience
• Exceptional leadership, staff development and delegation skills
• Experience in financial/budget management
• Experience with database software (i.e. Access, etc), reporting software and technical documentation. Smartsheet experience is desired.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, etc.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university.
