Salary = 80% of Grade 9 SCP 37-40 = £32,700 - £35,085 per annum.

Job Purpose

This essential post is vital in maintaining the sustainability of the Council. The post holder will provide Council wide support and implementation of the Council’s Corporate Plan and Recovery, Transformation and Improvement Plan (including cash saving, value for money, risk mitigation, performance and service improvement projects). Predominantly the role will include programme/project management and strategic development. Additionally Council wide training programmes will be developed and implemented by the post holder.

There is an immediate need to support this delivery linked to Social Services. The post holder will report to the Chief Officer for Social Services but will be required to be part of the Corporate Performance and Change Team to carry our tasks in line with Council-wide change. The post holder will be required to work outside regular working hours as required.
