Frazer, a leading builder of emergency medical vehicles, is currently seeking a Project Manager I to join our team. The Project Manager I at Frazer reports to the MIS Supervisor, and is responsible for taking projects through the full project life cycle, successfully delivering to all project baselines: cost, schedule, and scope. The Project Manager I liaises between project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, cost, and meeting plans are communicated. They will effectively collaborate with team members, leaders, and vendors, both in person and remote, to ensure the successful completion of projects while managing several initiatives simultaneously.

What Does a Week in the Life of the Project Manager I Look Like?

1. Work directly with business stakeholders to understand project needs and objectives.
2. Create and manage the project baselines - Scope, Schedule, Budget.
3. Plans and facilitates project meetings to align the project team to methods and goals and to track project tasks.
4. Prepares agendas, meeting notes, and project summaries.
5. Monitors task completion status to identify at risk project tasks and to develop mitigation plans.

6. Owns the successful execution of the project life cycle for simultaneous projects of varying size. Conducting regular team meetings, addressing roadblocks or escalation in order to meet project deliverables and deadlines.
7. Follow IT project management policies and procedures, and participate in creating or updating practices, templates, policies and tools to expand and mature these capabilities.
8. Provide timely reporting of issues that impact progress, coordinating actions and resolution.
9. Report project metrics to demonstrate the project’s progress, risks and issues.

Required Education and Experience:

• Good computer skills
• Extensive understanding of project management principles, methods and techniques

Preferred Education and Experience:

• B.S. or equivalent Professional experience
• Project Management Certification
• 0-2 years of related experience

Oh, and $alary

Of course, we didn't forget salary… Frazer offers competitive pay and this role will start with a salary between $55,000 - $86,000 annually depending on education, certifications, and experience.

Work Schedule

The Project Manager I will work Monday - Friday 7AM-3:30PM or Monday - Thursday 7AM-4:30PM and Friday 7AM-11AM. Occasional evening/weekend work may be needed. Frazer currently runs two shifts, Monday through Friday with overtime on weekend work as needed. Late afternoon/evening/weekend hours may be required as needed. Work schedules may change to accommodate production needs.
