We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Change Manager to be at the forefront of this transformation who will be responsible for driving efficiencies within our Delivery Offices in the Scotland/Northern Ireland region.

As the Delivery Change Manager for the North region, you will be accountable for leading the delivery revision process in Delivery Offices.
With responsibility for completing the technical, project management and governance tasks within the delivery revision process, you will support Delivery Office Managers to complete the operational and engagement / communication tasks within the process.

About the role

Supporting Delivery Office Managers to ensure their base data is accurate and the unit readiness checklist can be signed off on time will be key in this role, as will the completion of all tasks assigned within the nationally agreed revision process to the required quality and timescales.

Your role will be to attend the start-up and design meetings, providing expert input as required. You will then create optimised duty sets, covering both indoor and outdoor workload based on IWT, best method / layout and optimised outdoor routes using GeoRoute. You will also use Duty Manager to design a duty set for the unit in line with change parameters and which are operationally efficient and support the achievement of the customer scorecard, whilst following all nationally agreed processes / national agreements relevant to the change being introduced.

You will guide and coach the unit manager through the key activities within the revision that they are responsible for completing and work with them to ensure that engagement and communication activity is carried out in line with activity work packages. In addition, you will work with the unit manager and functional business partners to highlight and resolve any risks, issues or barriers to change.

With a focus on achieving timescales and benefits, you will ensure strong project governance is in place and will complete weekly reporting on progress vs the plan to stakeholders. You will also be accountable for completion of the PIR to ensure that the change is successfully deployed with any revision design issues identified and solutions introduced.

Location:

The North region, predominantly Northern Ireland (office base Belfast) and the West of Scotland (office base Glasgow). There is a requirement to cover revisions in the North of England and the Midlands.

You need to be extremely flexible with the ability to travel within the large geographical North region, which will involve overnight stays.

The role will include ad-hoc weekend work to support deployment of the revision activity.

About you

You will have a high level of competence in and knowledge of IT systems, in particular Microsoft products & SharePoint sites.

Change Management/revisions experience is required together with proven experience of deploying change initiatives.

With good analytical, planning and organisational skills, you will be results and output orientated with a positive challenging style, with the ability to unblock barriers and resolve issues at a local level.

Your communication skills will be excellent and you will have the ability to build relationships quickly and to influence and explain technical outputs to stakeholders.

You will also have an in-depth understanding of the delivery operation and experience of working within this environment.
