We are currently looking for a Regional Quality Manager in Gauteng to inspects the products or services created or delivered by a company to ensure they meet all requirements and standards. This involves doing site inspections for quality and, in the case of services, reviewing processes and deliverables to confirm that all services delivered were of excellent quality. Our local expertise, global standards and innovative cross-divisional solutions, such as catering, cleaning, facility management and security, give us the edge to optimise our customers non-core operations, allowing them to enjoy reduced cost, risk and complexity The Regional Quality Manager will manage all aspects of the Quality systems on site to ensure compliance with the TCHS “5 Steps of Excellence” and all client Quality systems including Cohsasa, ISO, Food audits. Co-ordination and drive of all unit results. Implementation of quality systems as and where required.
Duties & Responsibilities
•• Implement and Maintain the Quality System Regionally, in accordance with the set standards
• Drive efficiencies in the business and identify areas to improve efficiencies
• Effectively control of Quality documentation and records nationally, including branded posters on notice boards.
• Control and maintain a Corrective and Preventative action analysis and status
• Facilitate organizational quality awareness and improvement through the involvement of all staff and their role in quality management
• Ensure that training is arranged, and that the site complies with safety legislation
• Ensure that staff on sites are following correct processes and correct cleaning methodology
• Ensure continual improvement and the efficiency and effectiveness of the internal grading system
• Conduct operations in their weekly/monthly quality improvement meetings to discuss documentation, housekeeping, upcoming audits etc
• Ensure that regular Internal are being performed and that audit reports are compiled, actioned and maintained
• Self-perform audits for sites on a schedule as agreed. Targets set by RD.
• Monitor of the system and processes for non-conformance and continual improvement
• Compile means and methods of increasing customer satisfaction and client external quality scores for example client external Press Ganey and Netcare patient scores
• Assess customer satisfaction through customer surveys and complaints and the control thereof
• Ensure that all work carried out on site complies with best practice
• Follow up on non-conformance reports from audits both internal and external
• Recommend improvements and ensure that these are implemented
Skills and Competencies
• Ability to deliver high quality and proactive service to internal and external customers
• Ability to turn around a contract that is experiencing operational challenges by consistently focusing on quality standards and methodology
• Ability to effectively manage people, processes and projects
• Ability to identify and develop and apply new ideas and practices in areas of responsibility that are consistent with Tsebo Cleaning and Hygiene Services strategies and which demonstrate a proactive approach to meeting the needs of the account
• Ability to develop new SOP’s when entering new market segments
• Ability to develop good internal and external networks and to gain credibility with management, staff and external parties
• Ability to provide guidance and constructive feedback to all stakeholders
• Ability to handle conflict situations
• Ability to use own initiative and to operate with no management support when required
• Work to improve cleaning efficiencies in contracts and identify unproductive processes
Qualifications
• Minimum Matric
• Relevant tertiary qualification /or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in cleaning
• Healthcare experience would be advantageous
• Understanding of ISO 9001, 14001, 18001 will be beneficial
• Quality Management System Audit skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license own reliable vehicle
• Must be able to travel to other regions and work away from home for short periods when required
