A Snapshot of Your Day
The Business Excellence Consultant is responsible, as part of the overall Business Excellence team, for leading or supporting all improvement projects that help drive the Siemens-Energy Aero Gas Turbine strategy and business plans.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders in multiple functions and locations of the Aero Gas Turbine (AGT) business in the delivery of business improvement projects with measurable benefits
- Challenging convention, questioning the ‘norm’ and encouraging the business to innovate
- Become an active member within a team of Entry Level Talent (Apprentices/Interns/Graduates) to participate in wider business projects through our culture hub. The scope of these projects will provide you with valuable team working experiences and opportunities to enhance presentation skills.
- Champion and share the use of best practice methods for improvements across the business and provide evidence of real change implementation.
- Develop and then deploy robust problem-solving tools and techniques within the business.
What You Bring
- Graduated with a 2:2 degree or above in either Engineering or the sciences, coupled with strong analytical and communication skills
- Willingness to embrace continuous improvement, a passion for data driven approaches to a challenge and enthusiastic to work towards Lean Six Sigma certification
- Enjoy jumping in and, with support, feel confident taking responsibility for live tasks and projects you’ve been assigned either individually or as part of a physical or virtual team
- Are flexible, know how to connect and communicate with others delivering results in a collaborative style maintaining a positive outlook
- Are comfortable with (and an active promoter of) change and able to react to unexpected challenges with enthusiasm both as part of a team and whilst leading others
- A demonstrable affinity with IT systems and the ability to create data solutions using relational databases, analytics software, etc, is highly desirable as well as being a confident user of MS Office tools
- A geographical mobility allowing time to be spent in both Romania and the UK during the graduate programme
- Fluency in Romanian would be desirable

This role will be primarily based at our office location within the European Innovation Center in Warwick, UK, commencing 07th October 2024 for the initial two year contract period. Any future employment opportunities post the two-year programme (by separate employment contract) would be at our office in Bucharest, Romania.
