Role Outline

Responsible oversight and verification for all subsea controls pre-commissioning and commissioning activities associated with the subsea facilities for 2 major projects.
Ensure commissioning test plans aligned to company standards and guidelines.
Provide input and verify development of the subsea pre-commissioning and commissioning activities schedule

Endorse system boundary limits such as leak test and electrical tests for pre-commissioning activities

Lead execution of static and dynamic commissioning procedures supported by vendors and other contractors.
Liaise with company engineering, subsea hardware groups, subsea suppliers and vendors to ensure interfaces are managed efficiently and commissioning philosphies and procedures are compatible, and provide quick resolution of technical issues, arising at site
Support closure of punch list items, raised during commissioning execution. Ensure punchlist items are categorised efficiently and accurately.
Management of all interfaces at site between mobilised vendors, contractors and operations team

Ensure the Commissioning Manager is kept fully appraised of key issues, status and outstanding actions

Develop and produce reports as required by Management
Assist in the HSSE delivery and promote safety & environmental responsibility in all aspects of Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning
Knowledge of all subsea structures utilised on the project such as umbilicals, manifolds, trees
Knowledge of Umbilical pre-commissioning activities and associated requirements
Support completion of system handover management certification and documentation
Support delivery of subsea system handover to start-up as part of an overall integrated Start-Up of Infills project
Ability to coordinate and manage contractors and vendors to achieve safe, efficient and seamless start-up of the project system
Interface with offshore operations to manage commissioning SIMOPs

Key Criteria

Offshore Survival Course - BOSIET.

A minimum of five years' industry experience in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably as Company technical rep on installation vessel. Offshore construction and installation experience on shallow water/deepwater projects.

Demonstrate HSSE Leadership and personal commitment to Safety
Ability to work with interdisciplinary teams and communicate with discipline engineers
A proven decisive and pro-active team player with good communication skills
Demonstrate knowledge of umbilical pre-commissioning and commissioning specifications and industry standards

Demonstrates initiative, proactivity and motivation
Ability and willingness to travel
Planning, organization and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (e.g. Word, Excel and Power Point)
