Drive performance improvements that will have the biggest overall impact on the business results and on delivering operational excellence to our customers/consumers. This by challenging how things are done and embedding an attitude of Continuous Improvement (CI) to achieve performance excellence.


You are responsible for

• Supporting the implementation of Continuous Improvement across the End2End Value Chain.
• Enabling impactful results tied to Philips-wide priorities through application of CI/Lean methodologies, with sustainable behavioral change to ensure long-term competitive advantage and driving operational excellence.
• Constantly challenging the status quo, being a part of creating a ground-breaking vision for meaningful long-term success and driving and executing business strategies, transformations and improvement projects.
• Deploying Daily Management and Problem-Solving tools to drive Business Improvements and working with key stakeholders to define objectives, metrics, strategy and execution plan for short, mid-term.
• Supporting and delivering CI trainings/bootcamps (e.g. Daily Management, Problem-Solving)
• Planning and facilitating Kaizens, Value Stream Mapping sessions and activities to unlock and address business impediments.

You will also partner with the Head of BT for PH and key Business stakeholders to define improvement opportunities and provide leaderships in the application of Continuous Improvement.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree, MBA is a plus
• A minimum of 3-5 years relevant working experience
• Background in Continuous Improvement (e.g. Daily Management, Problem Solving, Kaizen), Project management and Change Management
• Good facilitating skills (teamwork and team building – delivery through others)
• Strong influencing and communication skills and the ability to encourage and empower others. You facilitate workshops with energy and fun.
• You are able to role model for Lean behaviors with a quality approach; so you are able to flag issues and are not afraid to speak up with the aim to make problems visible.
• You easily connect to others at multiple levels of the organization, from shopfloor to senior management.
• Self-starter who finds a way to get the job done.
