General

• Managing subcontractor performance and adherence to timely installation, erection within contract terms
• Use best practice PMI methodology to create a project plan to fit the stakeholders needs and deliver with-in budget on desired outcomes
• Manage a portfolio of projects according to the standards and expectations of the management
• Accountable for the result of the project and is the driver that holds the project together
• Defines project scope and schedule as per sales and contract requirements while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organize and lead project status and working meetings

• Conduct projects’ kick-off meetings with relevant customers
• Act as the point of contact between AE and customers
• Manage subcontractors in performing project activates and contractual obligations
• Escalate any major issue that may arise during the project implementation to the relevant parties
• Create an issue log and update it regularly in order to monitor who is responsible for solving relative issues specified by dates
• Submit material requests in coordination with the project coordinator and forward it to the Procurement team along with the approved project’s costing sheet
• Verify any variances against the costing sheet in coordination with the QS and submit clarifications to the Procurement
• Check the material delivery notes from Stores and enclose it in the project file
• Coordinate with the Finance team to complete the billing process in coordination with QS

• Fill the service acceptance letter (SAL) after project completion
• Prepare the final closing documents including the technical write ups
• Escalate issues from customers and follow up until resolved and project being closed
• Organize the professional teams working on the project according to the allocated tasks
• Ensure the quality standards are met during project execution
• Coordinate with the Finance team to oversee all relevant accounting, costing and billing processes with customers, subcontractors and vendors in coordination with QS
• Report to the relevant project stakeholders and senior parties to keep them updated with project progress

• Oversee project’s budget and compare it against the forecasted budget plan to ensure best allocation of resources are met in coordination with QS
• Report regularly on the progress and performance of the project using the best project management tools, systems and techniques to ensure that it is staying on the approved schedule
• Act as the bridge between upper management and the teams asked with the actual execution of the project
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation in coordination with Project Coordinator
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties / vendors
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Obtains correct acceptance sign-off from customer in order to submit final invoice for payment

Budgeting & Planning

• Co-ordinate the development of the project’s operating budget and monitor expenditures
• Ensure the project’s goals are achieved without having to exceed the planned budget
• Identify training needs of subordinates and coordinate with the HR department for their provision.
• Delegate authority and responsibilities to subordinates during his/her absence to sustain operations as effectively and efficiently as possible

Health and Safety:

• Act as the Health and Safety representative within the standards and culture of the company
• Establish health and safety best practices as per industry benchmarks and insure adherence to standards by achieving company health and safety targets
• Conduct regular audits as required by the company audit schedule to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements
• Involvement in installation investigations as required
• To ensure projects are compliant with all appropriate Health and Safety, legislative and business requirements

Skills

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 7 years previous experience, with a minimum of 4 years similar experience to the responsibilities outlined above Must have experience inGCC
• Training in:
o CRM
o Microsoft Dynamix 365
o Project managementsoftware
• MS Office suite - MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
