The Quality Excellence Manager is a key member of the Site Quality Leadership Team (SQLT) with the following primary responsibilities.
• Operational excellence (OpEx) project management
• Quality innovation and transformational projects
• Site Quality goal and metrics governance
• Budget and talent resource planning
• Strategic and long range planning (LRP)
YOUR responsibilities & YOUR impact:
• Strategic Quality Project Management
• Facilitate development of Site Quality strategies to ensure a harmonized and integrated quality approach.
• Provide leadership across Site Quality to promote and drive strategic thinking and innovative approaches to change the business. This includes facilitating and coaching in implementation of transformational changes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead/Co-lead strategic projects with Quality and/or other site functions
• Goal Governance & Budget Planning
• Lead strategic deployment and quality goal setting. Cascade from global Quality to Site Quality and collaborate with Site departments.
• Lead Quality goals monitoring, tracking and intervention.
• Provide oversight and governance for budget planning in partnership with Site Finance, through monitoring, tracking, data stewardship and reporting for Site Quality.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and best practice sharing across Site Quality.
• Lead/Coach quality personnel in OpEx projects.
• Lead Quality digital projects and collaborate with other vaccines sites
• Build network with other Janssen sites’ for best practice sharing.
• Quality talent resource planning
• Lead Quality talent resource development programs
• Champion Quality Culture mindset and behaviours
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Education
• Minimum university bachelor degree, preferably in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, microbiology, biotechnology or related engineering/technical field.
Experience
• Minimum 6- 8 years’ experience (at least 3 years of leadership experience, including strategic project management and leadership coordination of activities).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a GMP regulated environment (e.g. FDA, EMA, ICH, PIC/S).
• Knowledge of and experience with developing culture & mindset and project activities to continually improve compliance and operational efficiency
• Demonstrated ability to drive changes and support change management processes
• Demonstrated strategic and business oriented thinking
• Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, continuous improvement and out-of-the-box thinking
