Senior Solutions Project Manager

This role is part of Professional Services & Consulting team, which delivers Refinitiv’s Foreign Exchange solutions that empower financial institutions with competitive advantage.
This role has a key contribution in delivering the value of the whole firm to our customers by establishing and facilitating Project Governance /Compliance of our Client Projects aimed at improving the key performance indicators of faster revenue recognition, improving profitability and predictability, improving customer experience and managing escalations through strong relationships with both Internal and External key stakeholders.

The role will also require focusing on maintaining and creating visibility around a holistic view of the status and health of the client projects by developing independent, objective, accurate, clear and concise reporting.

• You are a talented Senior Project Manager with a passion for managing numerous projects that relates to Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Market data, cloud and data integration (primarily in Treasury space).
• You have an impeccable eye for creating detailed project plans and milestone-based project execution.
• You possess superior project management skills and are able to tracks resource plans, communication plans, risk mitigation plans and issue resolution plans
• Your primary focus will be to act as primary interface with clients regarding deliverables, change requests, and sign-off on status and requirements
• You will indirectly manage a team of project members (from other teams internally, 3rd party consulting firms and client contacts) to ensure on-time, on-schedule, on-budget execution and deliverables

Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Scope definition and management of project work activities, milestones, deliverables, resource assignments, project estimates, budgets and change requests.
• Identifies and proactively drives high quality project deliverables, dependencies, and critical path items - proactively manages changes in project scope
• Controls project deliverables, scope & expectations, and coordinates project progress with sponsors, steering committees, and senior leadership
• Develops and tracks to detailed project plans including schedules, technical and business requirements, cost estimates, resource plans including partners/contractors/3rd party vendors, communication plans, risk mitigation plans, and issue resolution plans
• Hold de-briefing sessions at the end of project with the internal and/or customers' stakeholders
• Practice Industry Standards (PMI), manage/control and improve existing Project Management methodologies and best practices in Professional Services & Consulting
• Deliver reports, detailed analysis on impact of Project Management methodologies with focus on regular improvements on gaps uncovered between KPI targets and actuals around faster revenue recognition, profitability, predictability and customer experience.
• Establish Project Governance/ Compliance framework and create visibility around a holistic view of the status and health of the client projects.
• Develop independent, objective, accurate, clear and concise reporting to be used by Project Managers as standards across all client facing projects.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO ESSENTIALLY HAVE?

• 8+ years of professional experience of Program/Project Management, with >50% of experience in BFSI domain; particularly in FX/MM treasury space
• Project Management experience (client facing) focused on stakeholder management, scope, work breakdown etc
• Financial & Business Acumen that helps client to quantify financial value of the solutions
• Have functional, analytical, architecture and design skills around distributed infrastructure solutions across differing jurisdictions, locations, platforms & software
• Must be a proactive self-starter and possess the ability to solve problems and address issues with creativity and innovation
• Enterprise wide thinking - able to give end to end solutions
• Ability to influence and manage customer expectations
• Largely independent in driving day to day responsibilities without management intervention
• Knowledge of financial markets; compliance workflows and understanding of business requirements
• Ability to multitask in a demanding environment with competing priorities to meet customer deadlines
• Strong communication and presentation skills with an agile approach based on the audience
• Ability to work in a dynamic matrix environment and influence groups outside of organization to execute efficiently
• Flexibility to travel across region is a must
• Fluent in English & Arabic
• Must be PMI / Prince2 certified project / program manager.

Desired but Not Mandatory Experience

• Exposure with Refinitiv products like Electronic Trading a plus
• Knowledge of basic technologies - MS SQL, AWS Cloud, Python
• Exposure in delivering industry solutions like Kondor plus, Murex, Calypso, Credence a plus
• High level understanding of integration across various platforms & software
• Ability to become a Trusted Advisor who drives the Project Team

Education/Certification

Undergraduate or higher university degree in Computer Science or Project Management but not mandatory if they have relevant experience.
