You as a Senior Commissioning Engineer, will be part of Power Grids business based in Kuwait, Kuwait. You are responsible for supporting Act as commissioning lead for medium to high complex projects. Ensure completion of all commissioning activities efficiently and cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements
Your responsibilities
• Optimizing project cash flow, prepares project invoices, and manages the currency risk.
• Managing bonds and guarantee project requirements, addresses tax issues and project financing requirements
• Responsible for accurate reporting of project balance sheet and income statement. Prepares, assesses and substantiates cost to complete. Identifies risks and opportunities, initiates risk mitigation actions. Compiles forecasted revenues and cashflow for project and drives to maximize GM contribution together with project manager.
• Monitoring and supporting in compiling and follow up of claims and back-charges towards customer or suppliers.
• Coordinating and preparing of regular project reviews
• Supporting the proposal manager by reviewing and advising on financial/commercial aspects of proposal and supports in the risk review process.
• Corporate governance, compliance, assurance, and internal control. Enforcement of internal controls, group charter and country specific finance directives and instructions

Your background
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance with a minimum of 8 years plus work experience in controlling in an international environment - ideally within Hitachi ABB Power Grids Group
• Knowledge of IFRS
• Knowledge of Internal Control processes
• Completion of Project Business Controller required training modules
• Finance and business control expert with process orientation
• Detail-oriented team player with the ability to effectively adhere to strict deadlines
• Good communication and negotiation skills required, Strong risk management skills
