This team is a temporary team that is being deployed into the project to provide a short term benefit to Defence to ensure analysis is being undertaken. You will be responsible for providing assurance checks for data which will be held for Defence and accessed by MOD and industry partners. This will include checking an agreed % sample of items which have been self-assessed, to ensure the correct commodity jurisdiction categorisation has been identified to determine the necessary controls and licencing requirements for the item/system or platform.
As an Quality Management your main responsibilities would be:
• Providing analysis to establish or test Export Control regulatory self-assessments for military assets, utilising technical engineering skills and knowledge of military equipment to enable decision making, creating quality and compliance reporting documentation.
• Quality Management are responsible for identifying technical assessment issues and getting to the root of the problem to ensure the integrity of compliance data which they are developing/assuring
You’ll have relevant experience in:
• Experience of Export Control Regulations such as ITAR would be advantageous. ( Not Essential)
• Military experience/equipment knowledge would be beneficial to the role.
• Due to the high volumes of data, competence in excel is essential.
• Security Clearance is essential
• Experience of Quality/Compliance
• Military knowledge desirable not essential.
