Job Summary:
• Perform all duties as the appointed food safety team leader for the plant
• Ensure the FSMS is established, implemented, maintained, and updated
• managing and organizing the work of the food safety team
• ensuring relevant training and competencies for the food safety team
• reporting to top management on the effectiveness and suitability of the FSMS.
• Ensures compliance to FSSC 22000 & KORE requirements and all other applicable regulations
• Back up management systems specialist for the business
Key Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Working with auditors across CPS and named 3rd party accredited system auditors for FSSC 22000
2. Coordinates the activities of the Food safety Team
3. Responsible for updating food safety related master data
4. Provide special support within QSE and/or other areas if applicable including technical guidance, special trainings, special testing, ‘how to’, etc., within the Company and across other locations as needed.
5. Perform business requirements analysis of enhancements.
• Participate in business requirements analysis of new applications
• Participate in analysis for processes and data models
6. Responsible to keep informed the QSE department and the whole plant of Food safety requirements in all areas, food safety related changes in KORE and provide trainings.
7. Ensures Compliance to KORE and FSSC 22000
8. Assure suppliers and Conco’s corrective actions are adequately complete and audits are closed in a timely manner.
9. Effectively drive the GMP and hygiene design Program for the plant
10. Effectively manage the Pest Control Program and other programs as assigned
11. Work closely with Suppliers and Procurement to prepare corrective action follow up plan based on independent accredited 3rd party audit reports and communicate the status of corrective action plan for food safety.
12. Lead continuous improvement of the Food Safety Management System in its implementation and development for all activities
Authorities
To stop any operation or activity if it may potentially introduce a food safety hazard to product.

• Five 3-5 years in quality assurance including exposure to management systems.
• Management Systems Expertise with a global system approach and a strong knowledge of KO requirements
• Strong knowledge of Concentrate plant Manufacturing and Quality operations (Mixing, Packaging, Filling, Equipment capacity, Quality System, Laboratory, etc.).
• Knowledge of TCCC Formulas system
• Knowledge of computer software tools for the following applications:
• Spreadsheet and SAP query
• Databases
• Presentation
• Project management and flowcharting
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities at once
• Ability to Lead and work in teams
• Good Planning and execution Skills
Educational Requirements:

• B.sc degree Natural Science (Chemistry or Engineering) or equivalent
• Management systems certifications (added advantage)

1. This position operates primarily in an office environment with visits to company manufacturing areas. Hazards and risks are the normal ones relative to exposure to production and warehousing activities. Generally works in a closed environment, in office conditions, with normal level of noise and controllable changes of temperature.

3. Performs light physical effort with little exposure to adverse conditions.

• Cooperate and follow instructions given by the employer (CCS Leadership Team), Commissioner of Labour, Inspector or any other person lawfully authorized to give such instructions in keeping the working conditions safe and without risk to health and injury in the field of that activity.
• Ensure compliance to Food Safety and Quality requirements
• Use, any means, appliance, equipment or other safety devise for securing safety and health as provided by the employer (CCS Leadership Team) for use and protection of the employee or property in any process an per the instructions given by the employer or any person lawfully authorized to do so.
• Report to the employer (CCS Leadership Team) any situation as soon as it becomes unsafe or unhealthy, or where an accident occurs report such accident to the employer or supervisor.
• Ensure adherence to Environmental management, occupational health and safety, Food safety and quality procedures, work instructions, and work aids and not compromise the environment, occupational health and safety, food safety and quality.
• Report all environmental, occupational health and safety, food safety and quality related incidents to their immediate supervisor without delay.
