MECHANICAL/ENERGY ENGINEER - REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS - OIL & GAS TURBOMACHINERY COMPONENTS (INTERNSHIP)
Job location: Florence area
The selected resource, assigned to a well-structured Repair Engineering Support office, will be in charge for the activities related to the definition, formal redaction and management of repair engineering procedures and instructions for turbomachinery parts, assemblies and components, partnering with engineering / manufacturing functions and with the workshops where the repair operations take place.
He/She will be also involved in suppliers qualification process and will be travelling to visit suppliers facilities (in countries such as Brazil, China etc) for one or two weeks business trips.
Qualification Requirements:
•Mechanical/Energy Engineering MS Degree or similar background
•Proficiency in English
•Good computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
•Good knowledge of technical design, ability for reading / interpreting drafts
•Basic command of CAD tools
•Knowledge of turbomachines advantageous but not mandatory
•Commitment, precision, flexibility, proactivity, reliability
•Self-organization/self-motivation oriented mindset
•Strong analytical and problem solving skills
•Excellent team-work attitude
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•Availability for business travels (short & medium term travels).
