Shifts: 1st (Mon-Fri 6:00am-2:00pm) and 1st (Mon-Thurs 6:00am-4:30pm)
Mandatory over-time on Weekends as needed
Shifts can range from 8 hours- 10 hours depending on production needs. Each department starts/ends at different times to allow social distancing; therefore, your shift time may vary by 15-30 minutes.
Job Description:
* You will be PHYSICALLY and visually inspecting car bumpers.
* You will be checking for dings and dents in the bumper.
* You will be cleaning and packaging bumpers.
* You will be working with in a team to ensure 200-300 bumpers are packaged and shipped every day.
* You will be making sure all labels are correct and that they match.
* You will need to have a good understanding of appearance standards, defect tags, and defect codes.
* You MUST be detail oriented, self-sufficient, highly motivated, and fast.
* You will monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards.
* You will recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process.
* You will remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications.
* You will discuss inspection results with those responsible for products
Requirements:
* Must be able to bend, lift, pull, reach, & stand up to 12 hours per day. You will be expected to lift/package/inspect between 200-300 bumpers per day. Each bumper weighs about 30 lbs.
* Steel toe shoes or steel toe boots
* Background check via OTIS
