This role involves responsibility for managing the day to day accounting activities of a number of Dutch companies within the Intel legal entity structure. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the local statutory reporting impacts including local statutory delivery, audit support, and managing the relationship with the Malaysia Shared Service Center who look after the US GAAP books. The role also involves driving key corporate finance initiatives through BPM or World class close system and process improvements.

Responsibility:

Responsibility for the statutory processes for new Dutch company.
This includes:
-Local statutory delivery
-Monthly VAT compliance
-Managing and facilitating the relationship with the MSSC who perform a lot of the day to day transactional activities.
-Responsible for the accounting of critical technical areas under Local GAAP, staying abreast of GAAP changes and planning ahead.
-Responsible for managing the relationship with external auditors on the statutory accounts, managing expectations and managing the detailed audit process.
-Responsible for business partnering with other business groups e.g. Treasury, Tax, ops finance to understand the business roadmap, any emerging new business and identify the technical accounting issues and provide accounting recommendations to the accounting issues.

-Responsible for driving key Global and International accounting initiatives as part of a wider International Accounting organization.

Qualifications

-Candidate should be a part qualified Accountant with a minimum of 2 years' experience,
-Strong technical accounting knowledge of US GAAP and local GAAP needed with an
-Ability to research accounting issues and translate into recommendation
-Ability to work autonomously
-Strong business partnering and influencing skills
-Clear communication skills both written and verbal
-Strong team player and ability to participate in global project teams.
