In this role, you have the opportunity to
Coach, shape and drive key Perform and Transform initiatives in the Finance function, using the Philips Business System practices and tools, building capabilities along the way to strengthen the continuous improvement culture and mindset in Finance. Working in the Finance Function will give you the opportunity to drive improvement initiatives from a central, global Philips perspective- collaborating with our colleagues in Markets and Businesses along the way. The role is challenging, exciting and rewarding. The ideal candidate will have solid experience and passion for lean, continuous improvement and change management, eager to roll up his/her sleeves to drive initiatives while coaching people along the way.
You are responsible for
-Being the business partner for the Treasury department, coaching them on the application of Daily Management, Problem Solving and Hoshin to achieve their Perform and Transform objectives
-Next to having your own department, you will drive several improvement projects for Finance in collaboration with Markets and/or Businesses in Philips
-Scoping, structuring and driving improvement initiatives from initiation to implementation and facilitate the Finance teams along the way to apply Lean thinking themselves
-Delivering Lean/continuous improvement-related trainings, mentoring and coaching to all levels of the organization including management teams
-Identifying key breakthrough needs & drive and facilitate improvement management for those
-Communicating and articulate lean vision in the organization
-Creating the same language and common practices in lean/continuous improvement to develop and sustain a new culture and ways-of-working
You are a part of
The Finance Business Transformation team, consisting of 4 Continuous Improvement Leads reporting into the Head of BT for Finance.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
-Relevant university degree, e.g. business or engineering
-Min 5 years of relevant experience
-Experience with deployment of Lean/Continuous Improvement tools to drive impact (Lean/Six Sigma certification is beneficial)
-People skills to facilitate collaboration
-Coaching skills to be a business partner
-Significant project management experience; strong track record in delivering complex projects related to e.g. process improvements
-Clear proof points in informal leadership and ability to manage and steer multiple stakeholders on all levels;
-An affinity for coaching, teaching and training
-You speak and write Business English
-Proven track record in organizational transformation and change management
-Showing persistence and strong drive for results while able to apply flexibility
