About the Role

-Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (both US and local GAAP)
-Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures
-Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, credit control, and petty cash
-Review monthly results and implement standardized monthly financial management reporting including variance analysis and analysis on growth activity in addition to managing the cash flow and preparing cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy
-Strong business partnering with VP of Operations NL and local HR. Play important role in NL Management Team.
-Liaise with the regional segment management, Corporate Controller, SVP of Finance, legal & procurement team and CFO as appropriate.
-Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process for NL (sites & sg&a) in consultation with the Corporate Finance team.
-Ensure NL plans are in compliance with corporate policies and strategies and develop, implement or recommend policies and procedures for the finance function.
-Drive process and system improvements across the finance organization, including design and implementation of key controls over financial reporting.
-Interact regularly with key stakeholders across our global business in areas ranging from operations and investor relations to legal and human resources.
-Guide & develop team of Controllers and Accountants

Your Key Qualifications

-A Bachelor/master’s degree in Accounting/Finance
-Experience in a management position for +5yrs within the accounting, controlling & finance field
-Experience with scaling business processes and operating in environments that have achieved significant scale ($1B+ revenue). Experience working in a high-growth logistics, technology or automotive company preferred.
-Demonstrated success in helping build an integrated finance function with nationwide or global reach in addition to being comfortable operating at both ends of spectrum: “rolling sleeves up” and leading.
-Excels at interacting with business leaders internally and externally while being able to translate financial results to all audiences and gain cooperation through discussion, influence and persuasion
-Passion for BI tools and process improvements/transformation projects
