About the Role
We are searching for Brisbane’s best and brilliant Food & Beverage Manager to bring to life the city’s newest dining venue this November. With a nod to the astounding history of Brisbane’s late 20th century bars (honouring the history of LENNONS Hotel) and restaurants, an entirely reimagined space in the heart of Brisbane will welcome guests to enjoy a sundrenched outdoor terrace overlooking the city skyline and our beautiful infinity pool.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for not only bringing to life our newest venue, but you will also oversee the daily management of all Food & Beverage Operations to ensure each run as successful and independent profit centres whilst ensuring maximum guests satisfaction and adhering to Hyatt International standards.
Main Responsibilities
-Pre-opening preparation for new F&B venue – not limited to budgets, forecast, manning, equipment
-Updates and reimagination of existing LENNONS outlet
-Management of entire F&B Budgets & Costs
-In conjunction with the Venues Manager, oversee management of all F&B Outlets
-Training and development of all team members
-Work closely with the F&B team to constantly drive improvement
-In conjunction with the Venues Manager, management of rosters and payroll costs
-Ordering and stock control as needed
-In conjunction with Sales & Marketing, plan and execute promotional activities for all F&B Outlets
Requirements
-Proven experience in a similar role
-Previous experience using Micros and Micros back end is highly regarded
-Current RSA
-Current RMLV preferred
-Flexibility around working across all shifts including nights, weekends & public holidays
-Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
