We’re looking for a QHSE Coordinator to join our team at our M&S super hub site in Bradford. You’ll join us on a full-time, permanent basis working Monday to Friday. You will primarily look after our eCommerce operation, but we need you to be flexibility to support other parts of the business on site will be required. We’re not looking for someone to tick every box listed below, but we are looking for someone that can help drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to pay up to £23,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other benefits.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
-Champion the GXO philosophy in the communication of health, safety and environment to create a best in class safety culture and all areas of legal compliance across the site
-Assist the wider safety team with implementing processes and systems to deliver site safety objectives, playing an active part in the site ethos and strategy
-Work alongside the Site Manager ensuring that all QHSE related process and systems are in place to meet legal compliance including PPE, MHE, DSE, and RIDDOR
-Support the site with any accidents / incidents, leading the investigation and production of statistical information in relation to QHSE performance
What you need to succeed at GXO:
A NEBOSH General Certificate and exposure of working towards a culture of safety in a previous role, an active part in this will really help your application – safety is one of our values, you need to live and breathe this
If you’re from a warehouse/ logistics, distribution, manufacturing background this would be a huge plus, although we’ll consider applicants from other fast-paced environments
