Job Summary

AECOM are currently seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager, for a construction supervision project, based in Riyadh. The Quality Manager will implement and manage programs and procedures designed to continually improve product quality, enhance client satisfaction, while reducing quality related cost and client complaints.

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Maintain organization’s ISO certification
-Coordinate the local Quality Team
-Establish and monitoring local objectives related to the IMS
-Participate with senior management in determining IMS requirements
-Control system documentation for the region
-Maintain the regional/office internal audit schedule
-Conduct internal audits as required
-Register, distribute and track resolution of non-conformances
-Coordinate external audits (2nd and 3rd party audits)
-Continuous improvement of the IMS through regional procedures and contributions to IMS improvements
-Record and identify trends in non-conformance
-Attend IMS Review Meetings
-Facilitate of risk identification and mitigation in projects
-Monthly reports to Corporate Quality Manager
-Assist Client Feedback Survey process
-Maintain Green Office Plan objectives (if included in position description
-Insure that all deliverables, undergo checking and verification before being released to client/sub-consultant
-Assist reviews of IMS procedures and document control and ensure implementation is in compliance with contract requirements on regional sites
-Work in conjunction with project managers to ensure that all quality standards and issues are identified and addressed
-Facilitate sub-consultant and sub-contractor selection and assessments
-Conduct and/or participate in quality or technical compliance audits for contractors, sub contractors or vendors
-Review the contract documents for each construction package in respect of quality requirements and procedures and advise the project manager and contracts team of any deficiencies.
-Review the quality plans as submitted by the contractors and ensure compliance with contract requirements

Minimum Requirements

10+ years experience as QA Manager in construction and/or project management

Preferred Qualifications

A Bachelors Degree in a related subject is required. Additional certifications / accreditations would be advantageous.
